To protect the natural environment and groundwater, legislation has been introduced regulating the discharge of municipal wastewater. Property owners who are not connected to public sewage systems are required to ensure appropriate wastewater treatment.

In such cases, biological wastewater treatment plants are the most cost-effective and environmentally friendly option, achieving a high treatment efficiency (between 91% and 95%), which allows treated water to be safely returned to the natural environment. These systems are energy-efficient, easy to operate, and suitable for various types and sizes of properties.
