At Aplast, we attended the international CEDA Dredging Days 2026 event in Antwerp. Experts from the fields of port infrastructure, waterways, dredging technology for seabeds, riverbeds and harbour basins, as well as the environmental impacts of these interventions, gathered in Belgium. The event took place at the distinctive conference centre A Room with a ZOO, thoughtfully integrated into the surroundings of the zoo, which gave the conference a special experience and highlighted the connection between infrastructure, nature and sustainability.
Participation was important for Aplast, as we develop and manufacture high-performance floats for dredging operations on the seabed and in other waterways. The floats are available in various shapes and dimensions and are designed for demanding operating conditions where stability and durability are essential. This is an industry that plays an important role in port development, safe navigation, maintenance of waterways and above all, in the search for sustainable solutions for the future.
