Development and engineering
At Aplast, development and engineering form the foundation of every successful rotomoulding project. Based on an idea, technical requirements and experience, we design a comprehensive development process that results in a functional, optimized and production-ready custom product.
Using the input data, we prepare a development project that considers technical, economic and implementation aspects. Through technical consultation with the client, we define key product characteristics, materials, functionalities, indicative costs and production timelines. In this phase, we optimize geometry, wall thickness and structural solutions in accordance with rotomoulding technology.
3D modelling and optimization
Using advanced CAD tools, we develop 3D product models that enable precise visualization, analysis and further development. Modelling serves as the basis for tooling design, production simulation and optimization of the final product.
Product prototype
Based on the developed design, technical documentation and manufactured tooling, we prepare a product prototype. The prototype enables verification of functionality, suitability and quality prior to series production, which is particularly important for larger production runs. After client approval of the prototype, the product proceeds to serial manufacturing.
