ECOdip Advantages

Simple Installation

Despite their larger total capacity compared to conventional containers, ECOdip units require less usable surface area, as most of the system is installed below ground. This design enables efficient space utilization and a cleaner, more organized surroundings.

The installation process is technically straightforward and adaptable to various site conditions. The required excavation depth is approximately 150 cm. When installing multiple units at a single location, for example at recycling points, a minimum spacing of 80 cm between units is recommended to ensure safe operation and maintenance.

After installation, an appropriate insert is placed inside the container, either in the form of a bag or a metal or plastic liner, depending on the type of waste and intended use. The ECOdip container structure is engineered to perform reliably even in more demanding conditions, including areas with groundwater presence.

Detailed procedures and technical guidelines for installation are provided in the installation manual available in the documentation section.

Seamless Spatial Integration

The placement of collection units should align with the architectural and environmental characteristics of the location. ECOdip offers a selection of enclosure materials such as wood, composite or aluminum (ALU), enabling visual consistency with both urban and natural surroundings. In addition, the design can be tailored to specific project requirements and user preferences, ensuring full spatial integration.

The system also contributes to a cleaner and more organized environment. Increased collection capacity reduces the need for waste disposal outside the containers and prevents overflow. As a result, unpleasant odors are minimized and access for animals is restricted, improving hygiene standards and the overall appearance of the area.

For a clearer understanding of spatial integration, visualizations can be used to illustrate the difference between conventional containers and ECOdip solutions, highlighting both their aesthetic and functional advantages.

More Capacity, Fewer Odors

Deep waste collection is based on efficient space utilization and improved hygiene conditions. Approximately 70% of the container volume is located underground, enabling significantly greater capacity within the same surface footprint. This design reduces the need for additional collection points and contributes to a more organized space.

The increased depth also allows for a larger volume of collected waste, as its own mass creates natural gravitational compaction. This reduces the overall waste volume and improves collection efficiency. At the same time, lower temperatures in the underground section significantly reduce unpleasant odors, enhancing user experience and environmental quality.

Lower Costs

The ECOdip system enables optimization of the entire waste collection and transport process, which directly translates into lower capital and operational costs. Due to the higher capacity of individual units, fewer containers are required on site, reducing initial investment and maintenance costs.

More efficient collection logistics allow for better route planning, resulting in fewer vehicles and fewer transport cycles. The emptying system is designed to be operated by a single operator, further reducing labor costs. Together, these advantages ensure more efficient municipal service management and long-term cost savings.

Separate Waste Collection

Effective waste separation is a fundamental element of sustainable resource management. ECOdip systems are designed to enable users to separate different waste fractions easily, clearly and consistently at the point of disposal.

The units are equipped with color-coded lids corresponding to specific waste streams such as organic waste, packaging, paper and glass. This labeling ensures intuitive use and reduces the risk of incorrect disposal.

The system is also adaptable in terms of user experience. Various lid configurations are available and can be tailored to client requirements and specific site conditions.

In addition, different opening sizes (300 mm, 400 mm and 600 mm) are available, allowing optimal use depending on the type of waste. For added flexibility, collection drums with capacities of 40 L and 60 L are also available, enabling controlled and convenient disposal.

This design encourages proper waste separation, improves collection efficiency and contributes to higher recycling rates.
